Individual Therapy

Many individuals may experience difficulties in the natural cycle of their lives from time to time. Coping skills of each individual’s  repertoire would play an active role. However, sometimes it is so difficult to cope with these difficulties that they also could impair one's integrity and functionality. For example, the person may have difficulty in maintaining his normal life routine such as business life, school life, relationships and sometimes he can have various disturbing psychological symptoms.

Therapy Session

Individual psychotherapy sessions are held at a time when the person has difficulties, through a face-to-face session with his psychotherapist, in order to find solutions to his goals. Individual therapy sessions are held to give the individual insight about the problem he is experiencing, to help him make the change he desires in his own behavior or relationships, and to help him to overcome various psychological disorders. The sessions are held within the framework of certain rules, especially privacy and trust 

The psychological well-being of the individual is always the  priority. Going trought the psychotherapy process allows individuals to progress on different topics such as problem solving skills, relationship and communication skills, and emotion management.

Online Therapy

Online therapy is the therapy system where therapists provide support and consultancy over the internet. Online therapy is an effective option in cases where face-to-face sessions can not be made due to the circumstances such as client's physical disability, living at a distance or abroad.

Many researchers suggest that online therapy methods are at least as effective as face-to-face counseling.

In a study on social phobia in 2011, it was observed that after the online therapy process, the anxiety and depression symptoms of social phobia clients improved significantly as well as face-to-face therapy.

 

In another study conducted in 2010 on perfectionism, Cognitive and Behavioral oriented face-to-face therapy and Cognitive and Behavioral oriented online therapy were compared. In the results, it was determined that online therapy makes a significant difference on perfectionism like face-to-face therapy.

Individual coaching is a professional relationship tailored specifically for one person in order to increase the quality of one’s life and help them achieve their goals. In this context, issues from general life such as: career, family relations, private relations, health problems, communication skills and work-life balance can be worked on. Not only problems but also improvements in these areas can be the focus of individual coaching.

In individual coaching the aim is:

• To reveal the existing potentials of the person,

• To strengthen the coping skills of the person to discover and get rid of their existing obstacles in order to reach their goals,

• To ensure that the person can keep his motivation high for change.

 

Individual coaching prepares the foundation for the person to achieve and be happy by enriching his existing potential in order to reach the level he desires.
